Beacon Hill Park Acrylic on Canvas, 14" X 11"
Another view of the stone bridge in Beacon Hill Park which was constructed in 1889. Again it is a foggy day.

St. Nicholas Anglican Church is in The Qu'Appelle Valley east of Craven and north of Regina, Saskatchewan. It has been active since 1820 when it served the the fur-trading posts. The Dominion of Canada was established in 1869 and Saskatchewan became a province in 1905.

This is the stone bridge that seperates the east and west halfs of Goodacre Lake in Beaon Hill Park. A foggy day with the sun straining to get through.

Goldstream Park, acrylic on canvas 14" X 11"
In the fall, millions of salmon make their way from the Pacific Ocean to the waters of Goldstream. Here they lay their eggs and die thus renewing their cycle. The salmon run was occuring when this painting was done - a remarkable sight.

Yesterday, Alfrecoes Plein Air Painters gathered at Mitchel Farms north of Victoria. I painted this small painting of trees in the middle of a freshly tilled field.
